Financial Accountant

Halliday Marx have partnered with rapidly growing and very well known retail business to hire a Financial Accountant on a permanent basis. This role has hybrid working 2/3 days a week in the office Responsibilities Preparation of monthly management accounts & statutory financial statements Lead on stock accounting including valuation, reconciliation, and provision reviews Support month-end close activities including accruals, prepayments, and journal entries Work closely with operations and merchandising teams to ensure accurate inventory reporting Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes Ensure compliance with financial controls, audit requirements, and internal policies Continuous improvement of finance processes and systems Requirements Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) Minimum 3 years of experience, ideally in the retail sector Proven stock accounting experience is essential Hunter gatherer mindset Sense of humour
