As part of the ongoing growth of the business, this highly entrepreneurial and fast paced company is seeking a highly talented Head of Finance Operations. Reporting to the Group Finance Director and managing a team of c25, the role includes: Taking the existing FinOps function, create and deliver a strategy to build a world-class finance operations environment that can facilitate the continued scaling of the business. Identify areas for improvement, including process efficiency's and automation and execute the appropriate enhancements/upgrades. Manage all finance operations, including O2C, P2P, R2R, Payroll and Expenses. Oversee payments to suppliers and employees, manage billing activities and ensure timely collection. Support due diligence phase of M&A transactions to create appropriate integration plans and ensure that operational finance activities integrate efficiently post deal completion. Influence behaviours across the business to create a culture of strong financial discipline which allows for continued business agility. Ensure that finance, accounting, and payroll operations run smoothly, with suppliers and employees paid on time and customers correctly invoiced. Overall responsibility for accurate accounting records. Drive best practice use of technology to improve delivery for internal and external stakeholders. Responsible for policy definition, communication, and training across all operational finance processes. Engage with business leaders to ensure clear and transparent communication and financial understanding across the senior leadership team. Lead, coach, and develop a high-quality team within a change environment, implementing a people development strategy that builds on the existing team, as well as bringing in specialist skills where necessary. You will be an experienced finance professional who has owned and led significant change across the finance operations function. With a proven track record of driving efficiency's and simplifying complex processes, you will be particularly adept at enhancing the accounting environment through the use of automation and data. Able to demonstrate a natural ability to inspire and lead, you will have a high level of emotional intelligence, self-awareness, and an inherent ability to influence behaviours. This is a key leadership role that is pivotal to the further success of this fast paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial success story.
