We are currently seeking a talented and motivated Assay Development Scientist to join our growing team and help advance our toxin detection platform. Position Overview The Assay Development Scientist will be instrumental in designing and optimizing lateral flow immunoassays and ELISA protocols, managing lab inventory, supporting scale-up and manufacturing, and contributing to customer discovery and product refinement. This is a dynamic role ideal for a versatile, detail-oriented professional with a strong scientific background and a hands-on mindset. Key Responsibilities Assay Development : Design, optimize, and validate lateral flow immunoassays and ELISA protocols for environmental toxin detection. Hands-on experience with antibody conjugation and lyophilization is a strong asset. Quality & Compliance : Support quality control initiatives and contribute to GMP readiness and certification. Inventory Management : Maintain accurate stock of reagents, materials, and consumables; ensure timely procurement and record-keeping. Manufacturing Support : Collaborate with the operations team to plan and scale manufacturing processes as demand grows. Customer Engagement : Participate in customer discovery activities to gather insights and inform product development. Reporting : Prepare detailed reports on assay development progress, experimental data, and workflow optimization. Project Management : Manage multiple priorities efficiently while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications Graduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Chemistry, Biology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Experience in lateral flow assay or ELISA development. Familiarity with antibody-based diagnostics, conjugation methods, and reagent stabilization techniques. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong communication skills and proficiency in preparing scientific documentation. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
