Position : 129519 Expected Start Date: July 28, 2025 Union: SUN Facility: Beauval Health Centre City/Town: Beauval Department: Community Clinics & Programs Type: Casual FTE: 0 Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Nurse Practitioner $52.590 to $62.910 Travel Required: No Job Description: The Nurse Practitioner blends an in-depth knowledge of nursing with their legal authority and autonomy to order diagnostic tests, prescribe pharmaceuticals and perform specific procedures in the management and treatment of illnesses and stable chronic conditions. The practice involves working within the nursing program objectives, guidelines, and policies and procedures; building partnerships, completing community needs assessments; supporting inter-professional collaboration; and participating in continuous improvements through evaluative processes/projects Human Resources Exemption: No Experience Five (5) years experience as a nurse practitioner Education Master of Nursing - Nurse Practitioner (MN-NP) Other Education and Training Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certificate (ACLS) Competencies Basic - Interpersonal skills Basic - Assessment skills Basic - Problem solving skills Basic - Decision making skills Knowledge and Abilities Knowledge in diverse cultures, values and traditions Ability to adapt to changing conditions Communication skills to transfer knowledge/skills Ability to competently use computers and software applications Other Information Beauval is located approximately 310 km north of Prince Albert Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS) For more information on the village of Beauval please visit http://www.villageofbeauval.ca/
