Job Description

Equipment Control Supervisor - Shipping Industry Main responsibilities: Supervise and collaborate with the team on equipment (container) inventory management responsibilities. Maintain accurate inventory of container levels based on forecasts, analyze business trends to forecast future needs, and coordinate equipment/container evacuations as necessary. Monitor the status of all equipment/container undergoing maintenance to ensure procedures align with company standards. Keep system records current to facilitate optimal allocation of equipment/container to customers. Achieve established KPIs and maintain strong relationships with assigned suppliers. Ensure PO´s are accurately maintained in the system to support efficient supplier payment processes. Make sure all equipment/container is in proper working condition according to company policies. Request and follow up on minor and major equipment/container repairs. Ensure that repairs were carried out according to company standards. KPIs: Empty without movements. Container (first-in, first-out) EDI Depots without delays Approval PO´s and maintains SAP clean Requirements: Academic education: Bachelor’s Degree, preferred (Transport Engineering, International Trade, etc.) Certification: IICL Experience: 4-5 years in similar position Experience in Container Shipping industry Experience managing teams Systems: SAP Languages: Fluent in English Excel and Outlook: Intermediate -advance level Leadership skills Management skills Teamwork Organized Resilient Results oriented Work under pressure
