Job Description
Project Description: We are seeking a Senior AUTOSAR Classic Software Developer to lead the design, integration, and validation of embedded software components for automotive ECUs. This role requires deep expertise in AUTOSAR Classic architecture, strong embedded C skills, and leadership in cross-functional engineering teams. Responsibilities: • Lead the configuration, development, and integration of AUTOSAR Basic Software (BSW) and Software Components (SWC). • Define and implement diagnostic, communication, and system-level functionality in line with client and vehicle architecture needs. • Coordinate with system architects, hardware engineers, and validation teams to ensure seamless ECU functionality. • Perform requirements analysis, breakdown, and traceability (using DOORS, Polarion, or equivalent tools). • Optimize BSW stacks for performance and resource efficiency. • Support root cause analysis and issue triage for system-level bugs. • Ensure deliverables meet AUTOSAR standards, Functional Safety (ISO 26262) requirements, and ASPICE process standards. Mandatory Skills Description: hands-on development experience in AUTOSAR Classic projects. • Proficiency in C for embedded systems, and familiarity with assembly and scripting (Python, Bash). • Expert-level use of tools like Vector DaVinci Developer/Configurator, EB tresos, CANoe, and Trace32. • Experience with MCAL drivers, OS configuration, RTE, and ECU startup sequences. • Experience with UDS protocol • Good knowledge of Autosar file formatting *.arxml (system description and Applications) • Strong knowledge of communication protocols (CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, FlexRay). • Familiar with OEM/Tier 1 software delivery lifecycle, change request management, and issue tracking (e.g., Jira). • Experience in leading technical discussions and cross-functional engineering collaboration. Nice-to-Have Skills Description: • Knowledge of ISO 26262 and experience in safety-critical software development. • Experience working with Adaptive AUTOSAR is a plus. • Exposure to test automation, Continuous Integration (CI/CD), and version control (Git).
