Job Title: Professional, Environmental and Employee Health & Safety Reporting To: Operations & Logistic Manager Work Schedule: Hybrid - Varese, IT Moog's Industrial Group designs and manufactures high-performance motion control solutions, combining electric, hydraulic, and hybrid technologies with expert consultative support across various fields including power generation, industrial machinery, simulation, and testing. We help performance-driven companies design and develop their next-generation machines. We are seeking internal/external candidates for the position of Site EHS & Maintenance Technician . Major Function of the Job Maintain a healthy, safe, and efficient environment (internally and externally). Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and Environmental regulations Dlgs 81/2008 & Dlgs 152/2006. Maintain a Health, Safety, and Environmental Management System according to ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 principles. Ensure efficient maintenance of equipment and buildings. Act as a Lean advocate and practitioner. Principal Accountabilities Ensure Health & Safety risk assessments (DVR) are complete and up-to-date with latest regulations. Work with Team Leaders to ensure adherence to Health & Safety guidelines. Manage building maintenance budgets and contracts, including service decisions (e.g., cleaning, security, maintenance). Engage with proven suppliers under competitive service contracts. Ensure compliance with fire precautions, electrical safety, pressure systems, lifting equipment, and other safety regulations as per Dlgs 81/2008. Adhere to lean targets and budgets for safety and facility maintenance. Manage processes to ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards. Develop and implement best practices across responsibilities, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely order fulfillment respecting safety regulations (DUVRI). Maintain the first-line disaster recovery plan and ensure emergency services are aware of hazards and roles. Conduct internal training on Health & Safety principles. Maintain records for monitoring EHS processes and machinery maintenance. Report regularly to the site manager on EHS issues and to the corporate EHS organization. Ideal Profile An engineering-related degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience in an EHS role, with deep knowledge of Dlgs 81/2008, Dlgs 152/2006, ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 principles.
