Licensed Psychoanalyst – New York Salary Range: $90,000 – $95,000 per year Location: Syracuse, New York Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM Position Summary: We are currently seeking a Licensed Psychoanalyst to join our team of highly skilled mental health professionals. The ideal candidate is passionate about psychoanalytic work, experienced in long-term psychotherapy, and committed to providing thoughtful, ethically grounded care to a diverse client population. Key Responsibilities: Provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy to adults, adolescents, or couples. Conduct thorough intake assessments and establish treatment plans. Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation. Participate in peer consultation groups or case conferences. Uphold ethical and professional standards in accordance with New York State regulations. Valid New York State license as a Psychoanalyst. Completion of a recognized psychoanalytic training program. Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred. Strong theoretical foundation and commitment to psychoanalytic principles. Excellent listening, communication, and empathy skills.
