Purpose & Role As an Account Executive in Italy, you will focus on the Financial Institutions client segment, a key growth channel for SSGA. This dynamic environment requires understanding and confidently addressing the unique needs of this complex distribution channel. Your responsibilities include identifying prospects, engaging with senior decision-makers, and maintaining our strong position in the institutional market. The role emphasizes growth through acquiring new clients and fostering relationships with existing ones. You will collaborate with investment strategists and think strategically to expand this vital business area, actively leading client and prospect engagements to shape their experience with SSGA. Major Responsibilities Develop and maintain a portfolio of long-term clients and prospects, fostering mutually beneficial relationships. Contribute to revenue targets through strategic client engagement and solutions. Promote SSGA's heritage and capabilities in beta and active solutions. Manage commercial opportunities and processes effectively. Ensure positive client experiences by delivering exceptional service, proactively addressing issues, and enhancing standards. Participate in client meetings and industry conferences. Uphold the firm's integrity by championing risk and compliance policies. Share knowledge within the team to support initiatives that increase client relevance. Education & Experience University degree or equivalent; CFA or similar finance qualification is a plus. Proven success in investment management, client relationship development, and winning mandates within financial institutions. Experience in sales and relationship management in a global investment firm. Ability to build influential relationships with senior management. Strong knowledge of industry environment, products, and solutions. Expertise in portfolio management, asset classes, and markets. Global perspective and cultural awareness. Understanding of legal, compliance, and regulatory frameworks. Excellent communication, influencing, and presentation skills. Strong strategic thinking, planning, and organizational abilities. Technical Knowledge & Qualifications Experience navigating complex financial institutions and managing large intermediary relationships.
