We are committed to providing top-notch legal services to our clients and are eager to welcome a highly skilled attorney to help us continue our tradition of excellence. We are looking to fill this position in the following locations: Columbus (Polk Co., NC), Marion (McDowell Co., NC), Lincolnton (Lincoln Co., NC), Waynesville, (Haywood Co., NC), Charlotte (Mecklenburg), and Brevard (Transylvania Co., NC). Responsibilities Represent clients in various transactional matters, including but not limited to wills and estates, asset protection, business plans, incorporations & LLCs, non-profit 501 (3), and intellectual property litigation Manage a caseload with minimal supervision, ensuring deadlines are met and providing regular updates to clients Conduct legal research and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs Engage in negotiation and mediation efforts to resolve disputes amicably Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure seamless case management Participate in business development initiatives, including networking events and client meetings Mentor and supervise junior attorneys and paralegals Requirements J.D. from an accredited law school and an active member in good standing with a state bar association 2-10 years of experience practicing family law Excellent analytical, research, and writing skills Strong negotiation and mediation skills Ability to manage and prioritize a diverse caseload Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and client confidentiality Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-centered focus Experience in business development and networking activities is a plus What We Offer Competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off Opportunities for professional growth and development, including access to continuing legal education A collegial work environment that values teamwork, diversity, and work-life balance Potential for partnership track, depending on qualifications and performance If you are a dedicated and experienced family law attorney looking for the opportunity to contribute your skills and expertise to a thriving practice, we encourage you to apply.
