TrinaTracker is Trina Solar division devoted to the design, manufacture, and supply of trackers. About the Role - We are seeking a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join our team at our Madrid office, supporting our business and projects. Responsibilities - Analyzing Geotechnical Reports, Corrosion Analysis, and Soil Risk Analysis for tracker foundations. Creating foundation design reports and new specifications according to standards. Supervise, design and budget control of POT Campaigns within design phase. Calculate skin friction, bearing and lateral resistance from Geotechnical reports. Assist in development of Trina tracker products, generating full understanding of product. Coordinate with Geotechnical Engineers in other regions to create and update structural and civil standards, specifications, templates, and design tools. Customer technical support during design and construction stages. Qualifications - Geotechnical engineering degree, Geological degree, or similar. English level B2 or similar (for daily internal work and communications with customers). Valuable Chinese knowledge. Required Skills - Experience in foundations design (piles, micropiles, and concrete footing). Experience working with international standards (Eurocode, ASTM, AASHTO, etc.) Experience in POT Campaigns (design, supervision on site and budget). Proficiency in using office tools (Excel and Word mainly). Preferred Skills - Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage a high workload independently. Total availability to travel to supervise POT campaigns in Spain and abroad. Highly organized with excellent problem-solving skills and adaptability to dynamic environments. Demonstrated flexibility in managing shifting priorities and a collaborative approach to teamwork. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a hands-on, proactive approach to tasks.
