Gate and Auto Door Engineer

Job Title: Gates and Auto Door Engineer Salary: £45,000 per annum Location: London & South East Region Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent About the Role We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Gates and Auto Door Engineer to join a growing team, covering London and the South East. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a strong background in the installation, maintenance, and repair of automated gates and door systems. Key Responsibilities Installation, servicing, and fault-finding on a range of automated gates, barriers, and automatic door systems (swing, sliding, telescopic, etc.) Carrying out reactive repairs and planned maintenance visits across commercial and residential sites Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical issues efficiently Ensuring all work complies with relevant health and safety standards and industry regulations Maintaining detailed records of work completed and liaising with the office team to ensure smooth job progression Providing excellent customer service on-site Requirements Proven experience in a similar role (minimum 3 years preferred) Strong knowledge of gate automation and automatic door systems Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence Relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications desirable (e.g. 17th/18th Edition, NVQ Level 2/3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering) IPAF, PASMA, or DHF qualifications are a plus Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team What We Offer Competitive salary of £45,000 per annum Company van, tools, uniform, and fuel card provided Overtime opportunities and performance-based bonuses 25 days annual leave bank holidays Ongoing training and development Supportive team environment and clear progression path
