Senior Backend Engineer Web3/ Blockchain Industry Remote £110k-£150k based on experience Our client is a leading blockchain technology company that's aiming to make Web3 more accessible and transparent than ever! They are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who thrives in a fast moving environment, takes ownership and is passionate about building reliable, scalable systems. Responsibilities Design and maintain backend services in Node.js and PHP (Symfony). Build scalable data pipelines that ingest, process and serve blockchain data. Mentor other engineers and champion best practices (testing, version control, CI/CD). Prototype new solutions and drive performance improvements. Requirements 3 years experience with Node.js and PHP (Symfony). Strong experience with PostgreSQL and Mongo Databases. Strong skills in creating and consuming APIs (rate limiting, caching, speed, queues, etc.). Knowledge of product tools such as Jira, Asana, Confluence etc. Experience using git (GitHub). Nice to have Experience with TypeScript. Experience with Kubernetes/k&s. Experience with AWS & EKS. Experience in the blockchain, gaming or fintech industry.
