Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Quality Manager to lead our client's plant-level quality efforts and ensure their manufacturing operations continue to meet the highest standards of product integrity and customer satisfaction. This position plays a key role in overseeing our client's Quality Management System and works closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams to support both preventive and corrective actions. What You’ll Do: Lead and develop a team of quality professionals, including engineers, technicians, and inspectors. Oversee day-to-day quality operations, including inspections, audits, and product evaluations. Maintain and improve the Quality Management System to meet internal, customer, and certification requirements (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949). Manage internal and external audits, customer complaints, and root cause investigations. Track quality metrics, analyze trends, and implement improvements to reduce defects and drive operational excellence. Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support new product launches, process changes, and continuous improvement initiatives. Work directly with customers and suppliers to resolve quality issues and drive long-term improvements. What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical field. 10 years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment; 5 years in a leadership role. Strong knowledge of quality tools and processes: APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, root cause analysis. Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and/or IATF 16949 quality systems. Excellent communication (English and Spanish), leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience working with both internal teams and external customers/suppliers. Certification such as CQE or Six Sigma is a plus.
