Cloud Services Engineer

Chroma is currently working alongside an established professional services firm in their search for a Cloud Services Engineer to join the team in their Manchester office. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving team. The team work on a hybrid basis (2 days per week on-site). Benefits of the role include: Minimum 25 days annual leave Annual promotion process Early finish Fridays once a month Employee Assistance Program and access to Mental Health First Aid As a Cloud Services Engineer , you will be key in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services on the Microsoft Azure platform. The team have been working in an Azure enviroment for the last year and are keen to further utlise the platform's capabilties. You will also have the opportunity to work on AI research and devlopment projects and automation projects. Day-to-day activities will include: Automate and manage cloud operations using tools (PowerShell, DevOps, Azure CLI) Uphold cloud governance and help design and implement Azure Cloud solutions Enhance performance and scalability of cloud infrastructure Creating prototypes according to user requirements Administer, support, and improve the Azure Virtual Desktop environment. Essential skills: At least 2 years of hands-on experience in cloud engineering on the Microsoft Azure platform On-prem systems engineering experinece Proficient in scripting and automation tools Excellent understanding of Azure Virtual Desktop environment IT support experience Desirable skills: Certifications in Azure Computer Science (or other relevant) degree Experience working in a professional services environment Experience/Interest in AI Engineering Please apply to role here!
