Class 1 Driver - Days Location: Hull, HU9 5QE Start times : Between 4am & 6am. Pay Rate: £16.40 Are you looking for a driving role that offers a great work-life balance? Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions. Candidates with significant Class 1 experience are encouraged to apply. However, those with a few months of solid Class 1 driving experience will also be considered. Key Responsibilities: Safely drive modern curtain-sided vehicles across the UK. Deliver timber to builders' merchants, with an average of 4-6 drops per day (sometimes as few as 1-2). Ensure goods are securely strapped before journeys. Operate in compliance with FORS Gold level safety standards. Benefits: Competitive Pay: £18.00 per hour after 8 hours. Paid Breaks. 28 Paid Days Holiday. Weekly Pay. Requirements: Valid LGV CE Licence. Up-to-date CPC and DIGI card. Maximum of 6 points on your licence. No DD, DR, or IN endorsements. All drivers must pass an on-site assessment.
