You’ll also provide informal leadership while developing solutions to complex issues. What you’ll do: Analyze and develop new code, including automation, integration and unit tests Implement code fixes and support user testing Participate in and/or lead design sessions Actively contribute to code reviews, providing constructive feedback to team members Ensure technical solutions and system integrations are developed and maintained in the most efficient and effective manner What we’re looking for: Skilled communicator able to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences Ability to conceptualize and articulate ideas clearly and concisely Innovative problem-solver and critical thinker with a customer focus Advocate of smart, clean and maintainable code Passion for technology, and software and data development What you’ll need: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering and at least six years of related experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience) Ability to design and implement functional, easy-to-understand code Proficiency with Spark AWS experience (RedShift, Glue, Step functions, QuickSight) SAS experience (SAS Enterprise Guide, SAS Data Integration, SAS MIP) would be beneficial A background in financial data/reporting and allowance for credit loss experience would be considered an asset
