What you’ll be doing Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and APIs using modern technologies and best practices. Participate in architectural and technical discussions to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance. Collaborate with product managers, designers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions. Implement integrations with third-party services and payment gateways. Optimize application performance and ensure high availability using cloud-native technologies. Promote best practices for code quality, testing, and deployment automation. Stay updated on emerging technologies and propose innovative solutions. Mentor junior developers and foster continuous learning within the team. What we’re looking for Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience. Proficiency in web technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including frameworks like Svelte), Node.js. Experience with cloud platforms, especially Cloudflare (Workers, R2, D1, Durable Objects). Knowledge of e-commerce platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento. Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and experience building/consuming them. Experience with relational and NoSQL databases. Experience developing distributed, scalable systems. Knowledge of systems observability and monitoring. Familiarity with CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes. Strong problem-solving skills and troubleshooting ability. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Certifications are a plus. Experience with microservices and serverless architectures.
