Your role : To strengthen the Midrange System Unit, we are seeking talented professionals to join our infrastructure team, specifically within backup solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced, and innovative environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve technological and business goals. Your duties and responsibilities Design and implement backup solutions tailored to business needs. Configure, manage, and maintain backup systems. Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize performance to ensure stability and reliability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate backup solutions with other technologies. Support security teams to mitigate vulnerabilities and threats. Maintain accurate documentation of processes, configurations, and changes to backup systems. Other duties Additional tasks may be assigned as your role expands. Your skills, experience, and qualifications required Degree in computer science or engineering. Knowledge of VEEAM, IBM Spectrum Protect, or Commvault backup solutions. Familiarity with VTL technology (Falconstor), Tape solutions (STK, Quantum, IBM), Repository technologies (Data Domain, ECS, S3). Proficiency in scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) for support and troubleshooting. Good understanding of SAN and TAN technologies (Container VEEAM, Spectrum Protect directory containers, HDS storage, DELL storage, CISCO MDS). Backup/OS technology certifications are advantageous.
