(Ingenium Group) DATE : 25/06/2025 ROLE : Project & Environmental Engineer – Renewable gases (Spain) POSITIONS : 1 CONTACT : hhrr@ingeniumren.com DESCRIPTION We are looking for an experienced Project & Environmental Engineer to join our team and support the development of renewable gas projects in Spain, including biogas, biomethane and green hydrogen plants. You will be responsible for preparing technical and environmental documentation and supporting the project development team in the permitting process required for the construction and operation of these facilities. As part of our internal development team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines as well as with external stakeholders and public authorities to ensure compliance with Spanish regulatory frameworks and to drive projects forward efficiently and successfully. He will report to the Group COO in Italy RESPONSIBILITIES Dimensioning and drawing of the Renewable Gas Plant Prepare and draft technical documentation and reports required for the permitting of renewable gas production plants (biogas, biomethane, green hydrogen) in Spain. Coordinate with international multidisciplinary teams (engineering, environmental, legal) to ensure compliance with applicable national and regional regulations. Provide technical support to the project development team from early-stage design through to the permitting phase, including reviewing site assessments and contributing to technical feasibility analysis. Support the project development team, liaise with public authorities and external stakeholders to facilitate the permitting process. Stay up to date with regulatory developments and technical standards relevant to renewable gas infrastructure in Spain. Contribute to the continuous improvement of internal methodologies and templates for permit documentation. DESIRED PROFILE Degree in Industrial Engineering, Energy Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in the preparation of technical documentation for permitting processes, preferably in the renewable gas sector (biogas, biomethane, green hydrogen). Solid understanding of Spanish permitting procedures and regulatory frameworks for energy infrastructure projects. Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and coordinating inputs for technical reports. Strong communication skills and ability to interact with public authorities and technical stakeholders. Proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Native Spanish speaker and professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken). Italian is a plus.
