Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented MEP Coordinator with strong proficiency in BIM processes and tools , particularly Autodesk Revit and Navisworks . The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven track record of coordinating MEP models on multidisciplinary BIM projects. Key Responsibilities: Lead coordination of MEP systems within BIM environments using Revit and Navisworks Manage . Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, general contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure clash-free, integrated models. Perform clash detection and resolution using Navisworks ; document and track issues to closure. Interpret MEP design documents and translate them into accurate, constructible BIM models. Review and validate MEP models to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications. Support development of BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project-specific modeling guidelines. Facilitate coordination meetings and model walkthroughs with project teams and clients. Generate reports, schedules, and visualizations to communicate design intent and construction planning. Provide support and training to junior modelers and project staff on BIM standards and tools. Required Qualifications: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in MEP coordination within a BIM environment. Expert-level proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP) and Navisworks Manage . Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in building design and construction. Demonstrated experience with BIM coordination processes and clash detection workflows. Knowledge of construction documents, shop drawings, and fabrication models. Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with attention to detail and deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with additional tools such as BIM 360 , AutoCAD , Dynamo , or ReCap is a plus. Associate or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field preferred. Familiarity with US construction standards, codes, and practices.
