Class 1 / 2 Steel Delivery Driver Rotherham Salary: £16.50 per hour Join the Recruit A Driver team as a HGV Driver! We have an opportunity for an experienced Class 1 or Class 2 Driver to work with our well-established client based in Rotherham. About the Role: As a Recruit A Driver HGV Driver, your duties will include: Overseeing the safe unloading of vehicles at customer premises Driving both Class 1 and Class 2 vehicles Ensuring Proofs of Delivery are signed and returned promptly Checking load security and weight distribution in line with the latest safe working practices at the start and end of each shift Ensuring delivery vehicles are maintained to company standards and reporting any defects Performing daily vehicle safety checks before use and operating vehicles safely Key Details: Working hours: 07:00 to 17:00 (start and finish times may vary), plus overtime when required Shift pattern: Monday to Friday Requirements: Valid Class 1 UK licence held for at least 12 months Recent Class 1 driving experience within the last 6 months (ideally 12 months) No more than 6 points on license (minor offences only) In-date Digital Tachograph Card Up-to-date CPC Qualification Card Interested?
