We are looking for a motivated, dynamic and reliable individual to perform a variety of secretarial tasks and represent our school during initial contacts with students and their families. RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain files and registers and classify files and documents. Process and distribute mail to appropriate recipients. Write acknowledgements, letters and simple notes. Research and gather information to complete forms, reports, and correspondence. Participate in the purchase of school items and supplies, performing transcription and verification tasks. Loan and retrieve volumes and manage the sale of school supplies. Perform compilation, verification, and registration tasks. Use appropriate computer software for word processing and database management. Provide occasional assistance to colleagues in the use of specific software and programs. Introduce new secretaries to the job. Enter texts and various data into the computer from a variety of sources, presenting them in the form of letters, tables, reports, etc. Check texts for spelling and grammatical correctness and report any necessary corrections. Receive and route telephone calls, providing general information. Perform other related tasks as required. Schooling Hold a Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial studies, a Secondary School Diploma or a diploma or an attestation of studies recognized as equivalent by the competent authority. Other requirements Have a basic knowledge of office automation. N.B.: Tests will be conducted to assess writing skills in French and English, proficiency in Word and Excel, as well as secretarial skills.
