Lead business and functional resources in the design of efficient enterprise business processes that leverage technical solutions being delivered or developed. • Facilitate working sessions with a diverse group of individuals for different project needs e.g. to gather requirements or to demonstrate software function. • Provide PLM application knowledge to various groups within Client so that PLM technologies and applications can be evaluated and placed appropriately on the Client PLM roadmap. • Work with the PLM Support team so the there is a common picture of the overall PLM solution direction. • Provide guidance on high-level solution direction within PLM. • Design / Develop Process Solutions for business to meet the strategy objectives. • Perform cost-benefit analysis and suggest and develop metrics to track progress to meet objectives. • Participate in the creation of standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines for the IT team as well providing guidance and input to training material development. • Analyse and revise existing systems and documentation to identify remediation or improvements in the application solution. • Strong customer interfacing skills to convey design approaches. • Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications. • Ability to learn about and recommend new technologies. • Strong communication and team skills to work effectively on multi-business unit, multi-functional teams. • Can lead design related workshops, drive issue resolution and act as a change agent. • Creates and maintain relationships with new acquaintances quickly and confidently; works to build trust and partner with stakeholders; successfully manages both internal and external relationships (e.g., vendor relationships); is comfortable in a challenger role that, at times, requires building constructive tension in interactions. • Apply different approaches to convince others to change their opinion or plan, and wins support from others for ideas; is able to build support with peers without direct lines of reporting across a matrix organization. • Consider the relative benefits and costs of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one; acts decisively and swiftly; identifies problems and drives toward solutions; takes on responsible roles and accountability for outcomes even when things go wrong; is comfortable making difficult decisions. • Awareness of impact on performance and user experience due to configured application. • Experience of 5 yrs on PLM products that includes at least 3 years of PTC Windchill and 2 years of Dassault Systemes 3DExperience. • 6 or more years of system analysis and design experience is required. This should include the creation of functional requirements for enterprise-level business application solutions involving multi-tier client/server, database, or web-based applications. • Experience with a full software development lifecycle process that included formal project management. • Functional domain knowledge should include PLM software applications, technical domain knowledge is a plus. Knowledge of Windchill 13 is preferred. • Experience of BOM Views, MPMLink, Variant Configuration, Options and Variants, is highly desirable. • Familiarity with other PTC applications, Creo Parametric, Creo View, Integrity and Thingworx would be useful. • Experience extending the digital thread upstream/downstream from PLM would be an advantage
