Purpose Vehicle and Spare parts homologation management, to ensure compliance with Mexican regulations for the importation, wholesale, and retail vehicles and parts in the Mexican Market. Position Tasks and Responsibilities Vehicle homologation management, to ensure compliance with Mexican regulations for the importation, wholesale, and retail of vehicles (Sedema, safety devices, tax code and REPUVE registration) Spare parts homologation management to ensure compliance with Mexican regulations for the importation, wholesale in terms of NOM, IFT, SENER. Work cross-functionally with internal and HQ to coordinate homologation strategies to ensure the homologation in a timely manner Submitting technical information, legal documents and all necessary documentation to ensure the correct submission of processes to government agencies Actively participate in forums and new regulations for both cars and spare parts to be up to date and implement the correct entry into force of new rules and regulations in the Mexican market Develop and manage Vehicle and Parts homologation suppliers, ensuring budget control and payments Knowledge of: Project Management Strong understanding of Mexican regulations in terms of spare parts (NOM, IFT, SENER, Textile) Knowledge of customs procedures especially in compliance with import regulations Vehicle homologation process (Sedema, safety devices, tax code and REPUVE registration) Experience / Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Customs, Administration. Experience in the Automotive industry, product & homologation areas is required 4 years of experience in government processes, Mexican regulations and government institutions Excel advanced level, Power point, Word,
