Accounting Analyst

Main Objective: Carry out the analysis, recording, and control of the company’s accounting operations in accordance with current tax and accounting regulations, ensuring the proper integration of financial information for decision-making and compliance with tax and corporate obligations. Main Responsibilities: Record accounting entries for income, expenses, and journal transactions. Perform bank reconciliations and review accounting movements. Analyze accounting accounts (assets, liabilities, income, and expenses). Support monthly and annual accounting closings. Prepare internal financial reports and reports for headquarters. Support internal and external audits (tax, financial). Validate invoices and follow up on accounts payable and receivable. Ensure compliance with tax requirements (DIOT, VAT, withholdings, etc.). Control and analyze fixed assets and depreciation. Collaborate with other departments such as purchasing, warehouse, and treasury. Position Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2 to 4 years of experience in general accounting, preferably in maquiladora or industrial companies. Knowledge of Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and Mexican tax regulations. Experience with IMMEX rules and electronic accounting is desirable. Proficiency in accounting systems (SAP, CONTPAQi, Oracle, or other ERPs). Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Intermediate English (preferred for reporting or corporate communication).
