As a Finance Intern , you’ll collaborate with our Finance team based in Tijuana and San Diego, supporting real business operations and learning about financial processes, reporting, and planning within the tech sector. Job Duties and Responsibilities Assist with preparing and creating customer invoices and managing the collection process to ensure timely payments. Assist in the Accounts payable process, which includes approvals, coding, and bill payment processing. Support the month-end close cycle, including preparation and posting of journal and trial balance entries. Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness. Aid in the preparation of internal financial and operational reports. Provide administrative and reporting support for financial systems, including: Planful – Budgeting, forecasting, and reporting assistance. QuickBooks – Day-to-day transaction processing and account reviews. Expensify – Expense report review, processing, and categorization. Help with mass recategorizations and maintenance for the chart of accounts to improve data consistency. Serve as a point of contact for finance/accounting-related inquiries received from other departments and clients to ensure timely responses. You can complete your professional practices, social service, or residency as part of this program.
