Sr Cisco or Arista Network Engineer

We are also globally partnered with some of some of the Top Accounting, Advisory and Audit firms. THE ROLE We have an existing Fortune 500 client based in Reynosa MX with an urgent need for a Sr Network Engineer with a background in either Cisco or Arista switches. . Candidates will need to work onsite 4 to 5 days per week. Those not from Reynosa can also apply. We will provide a travel / housing budget for those not local. You can travel to Reynosa weekly or at a frequency that you prefer. The initial period will be 18 weeks. There is a support phase thereafter for which you will be considered which will be much longer term. Skills required: 7 years of experience with Cisco Route/Switch CCNP Level certification Must be able to work onsite in Reynosa for 18 week rollout, config, rack and stack, etc… Must be able to carry a minimum of 25 pounds (when stacking Arista switches) Plus skills: Arista experience Arista Cloud Vision Responsibilities Rack new Arista switches Run power to the Arista switches Physically label the switches with Client provided naming convention Run fiber and copper jumpers and label both ends of the cables with source and destination device port as well as the link number. The labels will be wrap-around style labels from a label printer on a barrel. Clean and inspect the fiber cabling that are installed so that dust and debris do not interfere with proper operation. Total of 18 switches are to be deployed of that are layer 3 devices. Routing protocols such as STATIC, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP will be leveraged where needed. Depending on the nature of the project, a variation of /- 10% is expected. Total of 82 switches are to be deployed of that are layer 2 devices. Layer 2 protocols such as Rapid-PVST, MLAG, VARP, LACP, LAG, LLDP etc will be leveraged where needed.
