THE ROLE We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Communications Specialist to support our internal and external communication efforts in Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their career to gain hands-on experience in corporate communications within the insurance industry. You will provide support for country-specific requests, including association events, regulatory communications, functional messages, etc., Beyond this, your primary focus will be web support which you will do for Mexico and our other websites to ensure regional alignment/best practice. Lastly, you will help craft clear, engaging content, support media and employee communications, and contribute to projects that enhance our brand and reputation. Key Responsibilities: •Translate, adapt and support regional communication strategies to engage employees, leaders and external stakeholders. •Translate, adapt and support communications channels to maintain corporate websites, social media, newsletters, and intranet. •Organize and serve as event lead for partner events and association activities. •Manage relationship with agency partner to oversee media engagement strategy aligned with corporate goals and regional objectives. •Write and edit press releases, social media posts, blogs, and other content. •Optimize website through SEO and SEA management, edit and publish articles, forms, and other web features. •Support operational needs and serve as communications business partner for country-specific requests. Experience: •Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. •2 years of experience in a communications, PR, or marketing role (internships included). •Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills. •Interest in the insurance or financial services industry. •Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. •Familiarity with Microsoft Office and basic content management or design tools (e.g., Canva, WordPress, SharePoint) is a plus. •Eagerness to learn and grow in a collaborative team environment. Preferred Qualifications: •Internship or coursework related to insurance, finance, or corporate communications. •Basic understanding of media relations or social media strategy. •Experience with internal communications or employee engagement is a plus.
