What will you do? We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Cost Accountant to join our manufacturing team. The Cost Accountant will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on cost-related data, ensuring accurate allocation costs, and supporting financial decision-making processes. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes and cost accounting principles. How will you do it? Cost Analysis: Analyze manufacturing costs, including labor, materials, and overhead, to determine cost efficiency and identify areas for cost reduction. Budgeting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights into cost trends and variances. Inventory Management: Monitor and reconcile inventory levels, ensuring accurate valuation and reporting. Cost Allocation: Allocate costs to products and departments, ensuring accurate cost tracking and reporting. Financial Reporting: Prepare and present cost reports, including variance analysis, to management for decision-making purposes. Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance cost efficiency and accuracy. Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records. What are we looking for? Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cost accounting within a manufacturing environment. Skills: Strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software (SAP), and advanced Excel skills. Knowledge: In-depth understanding of cost accounting principles, manufacturing processes, and inventory management. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly. Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial reporting and analysis.
