Job Description
What will you do? Develop structural analysis calculations for pressure vessels in compliance with ASME and PED standards. Advise engineering teams on updates and changes in codes and directives. Prepare technical documentation including design concepts, specifications, and diagrams. Conduct feasibility studies for design optimization and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards applicable to pressure vessel design. How will you do it? Utilize advanced analysis software such as ANSYS and Compress to perform structural analysis. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments of engineering practices to ensure adherence to standards. Prepare and present comprehensive reports on analysis findings and recommendations. What are we looking for? Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pressure vessel design or mechanical product development. Proficient knowledge of ASME codes, European Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), and related standards. Experience with stress analysis techniques and familiarity with FEA tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish. Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented environment.
