Senior Data Engineer (with Backend Experience)

Project Description: DXC Luxoft is looking for a Senior Data Engineer with backend development experience to support a key client in the benefits and insurance domain. This role involves building and maintaining scalable data pipelines, integrating various data sources, and developing backend services to support data-driven solutions. Responsibilities: Design and maintain robust data processing systems, pipelines, and backend workflows Build and enhance ETL processes using the Parabola platform Perform data mapping, data table modeling, and write complex SQL queries Automate and orchestrate data pipelines to ensure data accuracy and availability Integrate data from various sources using SFTP, EDI, and CSV file exchanges Develop and maintain REST APIs to support system integrations and data services Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate data needs into technical solutions Maintain high standards of data quality, security, and compliance Mandatory Skills Description: 7 years of experience as a Data Engineer with strong backend development capabilities Hands-on experience with ETL tools, especially Parabola Proficient in SQL, data modeling, and relational database design Experience with data orchestration tools and workflow automation Deep understanding of data integration protocols like SFTP, EDI, and CSV Proven experience developing and maintaining REST APIs Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication in English Nice-to-Have Skills Description: Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Familiarity with benefits, insurance, or healthcare domains Languages: English: C1 Advanced
