Product Manager

The R&D Engineer needs expertise in the development and manufacturing of Home Appliances to provide better value to its customers, and must be able to conduct research and development based on analytical thinking and market understanding. The R&D Engineer should be able to assist understand the flow of production, manufacturing and sales of the developed parts or products in identifying, reviewing and resolving problems from a customer perspective. And to make predictions and preventive design of the problems that occur at each stage. Key Activities Management Effective deployment and management of resources needed to achieve project goals Determine product goals and plan/manage resources accordingly to meet deadlines Development Design and develop products from concept through design, qualification, and production Formulate and adhere to standards and procedures for Product Development Use CAD models, 3-D Surface Models, and physical prototypes to show design intent and feasibility of concepts Continuous communication and collaboration with internal staff or teams for successful projects Problems occurring from production and customer perspectives are resolved through active mind and statistical analysis Process Audit Determine product goals and plan/manage resources accordingly to meet deadlines Create bench work for problem solving related operation and Quality management and review results with related areas (Mfg, Engineering, QA, etc.) Line Support Effective interaction with production to implement new products/parts and make process / parts improvements Create action plans for Parts Quality improvement/Process optimization Cost reduction projects in Mechanical Parts Standardization projects in Mechanical Parts KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Relevant experience(s) & duration: 5 Year In-depth knowledge of 3D / 2D CAD software Exposure to a variety of manufacturing processes and designing for manufacturability Knowledge of dimensional and tolerance standards and experience in performing tolerance analysis of complex assemblies Preferred experience with Washing Machines & Dryer English: Advanced Mechatronics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer Administrator, Mechanical Electrical Engineer
