Production Engineering Manager

LG ELECTRONICS Location: Mexicali, Baja California, MX Renowned global leader Company is currently Hiring: PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MANAGER This position manages the Production Engineering team, committed to the development and upgrade of production systems, improving productivity, and securing flawless quality maintaining competitiveness in the market. Improves facility error rates and directs the research of new technologies. Supports investments in major production systems and automation facilities. Contributes to securing cost competitiveness through the development of new technologies and new processing methods. Key Role Reviews production, production machines loss analysis and improvement projects. Analysis of production lines responding to new models, calculation of investment costs, and response to production facilities. Create bench work for problem solving related operation and Quality management and review results with related areas (Mfg, Engineering, QA, etc.), PM Organization Management. Effective interaction with Production Team to implement new products/parts and make process / parts improvements. Manages machines stabilization, idle time improvement, corrective maintenance, improvement of UPH & machines tact time. Develops and applies new Digital Transformation / AI projects to production lines/equipment. Leads cost reduction and standardization projects in Mechanical Parts. Knowledge and Skills (general and technical) Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field Relevant experience(s) & duration: 5 - 8 years in manufacturing processes and designing for manufacturability, automation facility development or Setup experience in a manufacturing environment In-depth knowledge of 3D / 2D CAD Software and C, C++, C#, Java, Python, PLC control capability desired Intermediate to advanced computer skills MS Office, Excel and PowerPoint are required. Language / Level: English / Intermediate - Advanced (Spoken and written)
