The Manufacturing Execution System Leader is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting manufacturing software applications and databases that optimize our production and administrative processes. This role is key in implementing backend and frontend systems, managing MES services, and integrating digital solutions aligned with BCS’s smart manufacturing strategy. Your role: Lead the design and development of both desktop and web-based MES applications using technologies such as VB, C#, .NET Framework/Core, and Windows Services. Manage backend database systems including MS SQL Server and MySQL to ensure secure and efficient data handling. Create and maintain RESTful APIs and web services for system integration and data connectivity. Administer IIS web services on Windows Server, ensuring system stability and availability. Oversee software versioning and collaboration through Git or GitHub. Drive the development of reporting tools and data visualization to support operational decisions. Collaborate with internal departments to gather requirements, provide support, and ensure ticket resolution within SLA timeframes. Ensure compliance with relevant standards including ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001. What do you need? Engineering degree, Bachelor's in IT, or related technical field (Technical degree also considered with strong experience). Minimum 3 years of experience in MES or software development in an industrial setting. Strong technical skills in: Backend & frontend programming (VB.NET, C#, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, JQuery, Bootstrap) SQL database administration API & Windows/Web Services IIS administration and deployment Conversational and technical English proficiency (B1/B2 level). Ability to work with cross-functional teams, manage multiple tasks, and deliver under pressure. Proactive, service-oriented mindset with strong organizational skills. Familiarity with mobile development (e.g., Swift, Java Android/Kotlin) is a plus.
