International Tax Specialist

Job Description Job Description Malom Consulting is a CPA firm specializing in international taxation, providing expert services to individuals, corporations, and partnerships with economic interests in the US and overseas. We focus on delivering high-quality solutions, with a particular emphasis on the French-US tax treaty and a strong client base in the entertainment industry. As an International Tax Specialist, you will play a crucial role in preparing tax returns for our diverse client base. This position requires in-depth knowledge and experience in international taxation, particularly in handling forms such as 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8621, 8938, FBAR, etc. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and review international tax returns for individuals, corporations, and partnerships. Navigate and complete various forms, including but not limited to 1040, 1065, 1120, 1120S, 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8621, 8938, and FBAR. Apply critical thinking skills to analyze complex tax situations and provide strategic solutions. Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations, ensuring compliance with relevant authorities. Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and address inquiries. Qualifications: Extensive experience in international taxation. Proficiency in preparing forms such as 5471, 5472, 8865, 8858, 8621, 8938, and FBAR. Critical thinking skills to analyze and solve complex tax issues. Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively. Preferred Skills: Fluency in French. Familiarity with the French-US tax treaty.
