About the Position: The company is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Project Manager to oversee and manage both ground-up and renovation projects. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience in commercial construction, specifically working on K-12 schools and public works projects. This role requires a strong leader with excellent project management skills, the ability to coordinate multiple teams, and a deep understanding of construction methodologies and compliance regulations. Key Responsibilities: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of construction projects from pre-construction to completion. Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans while ensuring adherence to scope, quality, and safety standards. Lead project teams, including subcontractors, engineers, and consultants, ensuring clear communication and accountability. Review and interpret construction documents, contracts, and specifications. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, especially for public works and school projects. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure quality control. Manage project financials, including budgeting, cost tracking, and reporting. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies. Oversee risk management and problem resolution, proactively addressing potential project delays or cost overruns. Implement and enforce safety protocols in accordance with OSHA and industry standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 8-12 years of experience in commercial construction, with a strong portfolio of K-12 schools and public works projects. Proven ability to manage both ground-up and renovation projects from start to finish. Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project) and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with contract negotiation, scheduling, and cost control. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards. Familiarity with public bidding processes and prevailing wage requirements. OSHA 30-hour certification preferred. Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience.
