This is an opportunity to own the test strategy for highly reliable, complex aerospace systems—from hardware components to full-system validation. You’ll help define the infrastructure, processes, and leadership needed to support next-generation satellite missions. As the Senior Manager, Development Test Engineering , you will: Lead a team of engineers responsible for system-level design verification and qualification testing. Architect and refine testing processes, equipment, and infrastructure for high-stakes aerospace systems. Develop and execute comprehensive test plans across electrical, mechanical, software, and environmental systems. Collaborate cross-functionally with design, systems, and manufacturing engineers to ensure testing aligns with technical and regulatory requirements. Analyze and resolve issues uncovered during complex test campaigns (vibration, thermal vac, structural, software, etc.). Continuously improve test methodologies, including test automation and data analysis capabilities. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace Engineering or similar. 10 years of experience in hardware/system testing, including 5 years in a leadership role . Direct hands-on experience with test equipment such as thermal chambers, shakers, spectrum analyzers, and oscilloscopes. Familiarity with test automation and data acquisition tools. Proven ability to lead technical teams and interface with senior stakeholders. Bonus Points For: Experience with space system qualification standards (e.g., GSFC-STD-7000, SMC-S-016). Background in testing avionics or embedded systems. Working knowledge of both analog and digital electronics. Why Join This Team?
