Job Description

A Payroll Specialist required by prestigious Fintech , you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of monthly payroll for a diverse workforce, including employees, expats, and pensioners. This role involves maintaining payroll records, processing starters and leavers, managing variable data, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. Collaboration with various teams and stakeholders, as well as potential involvement in system replacement projects, are also key aspects of the role. Key Responsibilities: Processing Monthly Payroll: Accurately and efficiently process payroll for employees, expats, and pensioners, ensuring adherence to deadlines. Managing Starters and Leavers: Handle all aspects of employee onboarding and offboarding, including processing relevant documentation and payments. Handling Variable Data: Manage and process changes in employee data, such as salary adjustments, benefits, and other variable pay elements. Maintaining Payroll Records: Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of all payroll information. Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll legislation, including statutory deductions, pension schemes, and other relevant regulations. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, such as HR, Finance, and IT, as well as with external payroll providers. System Support: Provide support for payroll system upgrades or replacements, ensuring a smooth transition. Query Resolution: Address and resolve employee payroll queries promptly and efficiently. Statutory Submissions: Prepare and submit statutory returns, such as P11Ds, P60s, and P45s. Pension Administration: Manage pension scheme administration, including auto-enrolment and contribution management. Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in payroll processing, preferably within a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of UK/ Dutch payroll legislation and best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in using payroll software and systems. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience with HRIS platforms for managing employee data. Desirable Skills: CIPD or other HR-related qualifications (desirable), Experience with system replacement projects, and Experience with international payroll processing.
