Vendor Manager

We are looking for a Vendor Manager to join the RS PRO sourcing team. In this role, you will develop and manage relationships with key suppliers and sourcing partners, ensuring high product quality, ethical standards, and service levels that meet customer expectations. Your responsibilities will include: Building sourcing strategies for RS PRO products to mitigate supplier risk and create category-based sourcing plans. Engaging with internal stakeholders such as engineering and operations to ensure product quality and compliance. Leading supplier negotiations to establish long-term partnerships and managing risk assessments related to financial stability, quality, and compliance. Forecasting inflationary trends affecting commodity and supply chain costs. Working across countries and functions to improve overall margins. Utilizing data analytics and strong communication skills to manage key stakeholders. Identifying European suppliers with potential to develop into strategic partners. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related fields, with experience in sourcing and supplier management across EMEA. Candidates should possess strong commercial acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders within a matrix organization. Fluency in English and at least one other language such as Italian, German, French, or Spanish is preferred.
