ELI T&I AI Senior Specialist Apply locations: IT - Varese - Cascina Costa Time type: Full time Posted on: Posted Yesterday Application deadline: June 29, 2025 (10 days left to apply) Job requisition ID: R0018028 Job Description: Within the Technology & Innovation (T&I) Area, we are seeking a Mid-Senior Data Scientist to join our AI Team, focusing on applied research for autonomy-related products and industrial processes. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Leading the design, development, and implementation of models and products (experience with computer vision is a plus). Guiding and mentoring junior data scientists through coaching, code reviews, and project supervision (git proficiency is mandatory). Applying deep learning models for perception, including optimization and fine-tuning (deployment on edge is a plus). Collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Digital Transformation, IT, Engineering) for AI solution integration and deployment. Ensuring model scalability and robustness across cloud and edge environments. Staying updated with the latest AI/ML advancements and contributing to continuous innovation. Requirements: Education: Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Applied Mathematics, or related fields. Aerospace/Aeronautics Degree with AI experience is accepted. Seniority Level: Senior (5–10 years of experience). PhD counts as experience and is a plus. Technical Skills and Knowledge: Solid background in time series modeling is a plus. Experience deploying ML models on cloud and/or edge platforms. Proficiency in Python and major ML libraries (PyTorch, scikit-learn, etc.). Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). Experience with Git for collaborative development (mandatory). Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
