Cloud Architect

Experience: 6 to 11 Years Location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore Notice Period: Immediate to 30days Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – Google Cloud Technical Lead We are looking for a highly experienced Google Cloud Principal Consultant to lead and deliver cloud transformation programs leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP). You will work closely with client leadership, architects, and delivery teams to define cloud strategies, design modern architectures, and implement scalable and secure GCP solutions. This is a strategic role combining deep technical expertise with client-facing consulting leadership. Responsibilities: •Lead the cloud strategy, architecture, and roadmap definition for enterprise clients •Conduct cloud assessments, migration planning, and modernization solutioning •Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance GCP architectures •Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful implementation •Provide technical leadership across infrastructure, DevOps, data platforms, and application modernization •Guide clients on best practices for cost optimization, security, compliance, and cloud governance •Drive adoption of cloud-native tools and practices, including automation, containers, and serverless •Engage in pre-sales, PoCs, and proposal development with a focus on GCP solutions •Act as a mentor and SME for junior engineers, architects, and consultants •Deep understanding of cloud security, access controls, and compliance frameworks. •Experience with Terraform, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins for infrastructure-as-code. •Lead initiatives related to cloud networking, storage, and security, ensuring compliance with industry standards. •Author and review technical documentation for infrastructure processes, providing clear guidelines for future implementations. Minimum Qualifications / Skills •Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. •]Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Storage, and VPC •Experience in cloud migration, application modernization, and greenfield development on GCP •Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager, or similar tools •Strong understanding of cloud security, IAM, networking, and DevOps practices •Experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and automation frameworks •Excellent communication and client engagement skills, with a consultative approach •Proven experience leading large-scale cloud delivery engagements and cross-functional teams Preferred Qualifications/ Skills •GCP Certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, Cloud DevOps Engineer, etc.) •Experience with multi-cloud environments or hybrid cloud architecture •Strong knowledge of networking concepts, Kubernetes orchestration, and enterprise security
