For our Pisa -based office, we are looking for an enthusiastic Software Engineer with proven ability in creating 3D interactive applications, managing large datasets, designing and implementing complex algorithms, and performance optimization techniques. As a Software Engineer at IDS GeoRadar, you will be part of a team of world-class developers in a dynamic environment, applying cutting-edge technologies to develop customer-friendly software solutions for various applications, such as ensuring safety in hazardous environments, monitoring buildings and infrastructure, and developing detection and inspection software for underground structures. What we want you to do: Work in a team throughout the entire application lifecycle (concept, design, testing, release). Develop fully functional software applications with quality code. Analyze requirements and suggest solutions. Stay updated with new technology trends. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements. Desired Skills What would we like to see: Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent. 5 years of proven experience in software development. Strong problem-solving skills and experience implementing complex algorithms. Solid object-oriented design and programming skills. Proficiency in C++. Experience with visualization libraries (VTK, OpenGL). Ability to work effectively with Windows and Linux operating systems. Ability to work well both independently and in a team. Experience with processing 3D data algorithms is a plus. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies is a plus. Experience with testing techniques and test automation is a plus.
