Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and diligent c ompetent Recertification Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling the recertification processes using SailPoint or similar identity governance solutions. You will implement automation strategies, perform revocations, and ensure data cleanliness to support compliance and improve security measures within the organization. Key Responsibilities - Administer and handle the recertification process using SailPoint or similar identity management platforms. - Develop and maintain scripts to automate recertification workflows and processes. - Perform routine data cleaning and maintenance to ensure the accuracy and integrity of user access data. - Run and implement user access revocations based on policy requirements and recertification outcomes. - Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and address access-related issues. - Provide support and training to end-users and collaborators regarding access recertification procedures and standard processes. - Generate and analyze reports on recertification operations, identifying trends and areas for improvement. - Maintain documentation of processes, guidelines, and audit trails for compliance purposes. - Stay up-to-date with industry standard processes and emerging technologies related to identity governance. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology , Cybersecurity, or a related field. - Demonstrable experience working with SailPoint or similar identity management systems. - Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python, PowerShell) for automation purposes. - Solid understanding of access controls, compliance regulations, and identity governance principles. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and detail orientated. - Ability to effectively handle various tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment. - Good communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate closely with technical and non- technical collaborators. Technical Skills Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) : Understanding of IGA principles and practices, including user provisioning, access certification, and role management. IGA tools Proficiency : Hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ or IdentityNow (preferred) , or other IGA tools , including configuration, customization, and solve Application Onboarding : Knowledge of onboarding applications to IAM platforms, including integration with various enterprise applications and systems (knowledge about AD domain configuration, SCIM, API/webservices connectors etc ). Access Recertification : Familiarity with the processes and tools used for periodic access reviews and certifications to ensure compliance and security Security and Compliance : Understanding of security policies, compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA), and standard processes in IAM Scripting and Automation : Nice to have s kills in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to automate IAM tasks and processes Soft Skills Analytical Thinking : Ability to analyze sophisticated IAM scenarios and develop effective solutions. Problem-Solving : Strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve IAM-related issues. Communication : Effective collaborator in sharing technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Attention to Detail : Precision in handling user identities and access rights to prevent security breaches.
