Research Sales Manager - Finland Role: Research Sales Manager Location: Espoo, Finland Contract : Full time, Permanent Alimetrics Research Oy is a 20-year-old Finnish contract research company providing services for the industry and academia worldwide. From 2022 onwards Alimetrics Research has been part of Associated British Foods. We employ 17 specialists, and our core scientific focus is in the exploration and monitoring of gastrointestinal health indicators for animals. Currently our most important client category is companies developing health-promoting feed ingredients for production animals. In our typical assignments we screen for novel products with our proprietary laboratory models, study the modes of action of products, explore microbiological and immunological parameters connected to health, and help our clients to apply scientific information to their product development and marketing. Some key responsibilities will include: Working closely with the Research and Animal Science team to sell Alimetrics´ research and services, and participate in client management, development of project protocols, pricing strategies, quotation management, and negotiation of contract agreements. In your role you will also participate in scientific reporting to customers. You would be working as immunology expert in a team with microbiologists, molecular biologists, and animal nutritionists; we always meet the challenges of our clients as a multidisciplinary team. Skills and Experience We are now looking for a critical thinking and professional PhD in natural sciences or veterinary degree. Extensive scientific knowledge in immunology and animal gut health Experience / interest in commercial role with business development, sales or marketing Experience on laboratory methods Experience in animal sciences is essential. Most of our clients are from outside Finland and English is our official reporting language. Therefore, fluent written and spoken English is essential.
