Account Manager - Sheet Metal

Sales & Estimating Manager required for a sheet metal fabrication company based in Huddersfield. This would be an internal role and they are ideally looking for experience with sheet metal fabrication, subcontracting, etc. Sales & Estimating Manager - Sheet Metal Job Overview Responsible for tendering for new business, project estimating, to include reading and understanding of customer drawings in a variety of different formats Advantageous to have knowledge of laser cutting, metal bending, welding processes / fabrication, painting and be self- motivated and familiar with all aspects of the tendering / quotation process to give accurate assumptions of manufacturing Preparing contracts for shop floor manufacture using manufacturing software Respond to customer enquiries, processing quotations in a polite timely manner Build relationships with current customer base and with new customers to maximise the sales from each Able to break down Engineering Drawings into a suitable parts list to enable purchasing of material Able to identify any subcontract requirements and generate enquiries to subcontractors Capable of generating new business leads from research and be tenacious in approaching potential new customers in the most effective way Be driven in achieving sales targets and reporting of results Comfortable in holding face to face meetings with customers to discuss projects Confident in discussing any contractual issues which may arise Sales & Estimating Manager - Sheet Metal Job Requirements Previous experience in a similar role Previous experience in a similar industry Sales & Estimating Manager - Sheet Metal Salary & Benefits Salary dependent on experience likely £35k-£45k bonus scheme based on profitability of business (Circa £5k) 150 pound a month additional payment 07:30-16:15 Mon-Thurs 07:30-13:30 Friday Pension Holiday Bennett and Game Recruitment are a multi-disciplined technical recruitment agency based in Chichester, West Sussex operating across the UK with specialist teams covering a range of industries.
