Position Snapshot Nestlé Purina Portogruaro Factory (VE) Degree in Food Science or Biology or Veterinaty or Petfood 2-3 years minimum experience in Product development or Research & Development Fluent in English and Italian Available to relocate in Italy or abroad to grow professionally Position Summary In this role you will provide Formulation leadership as Product Platform Team representative in the Factory, you will also Lead the Ingredient and Formulation activities related to the implementation of I&R projects and day to day formula optimization. You will be the advocate for Ingredient and Formulation quality in the factory, ensuring that standards and specifications are applied. ThePowerOfPurina DigitalCareers A day in the life of Factory Formulation Specialist Identify within the factory, ingredient & formulation related 360 quality improvement and take corrective actions. Give input to central experts for the development of ingredient & formulation standards/specifications. Participate to relevant audits and panels to ensure product quality is maintained (i.e ingredient supply change, formulation change). Ensure formulations are compliant to Internal guidelines and European/local regulation. Ensure ingredient and product quality standards are understood and followed by the factory staff, provide trainings as relevant. Be the local expert for ingredient, formulation and nutrition to anticipate impact on finish product quality and/or customer satisfaction. Act as technical interface between factory and central to turn initiatives into tangible committed actions between both teams. Support FPPS and project team for line commissioning and product validation Provide leadership for the development and implementation of new ingredient and formulation in the factory. Ensure ingredient standards/specifications (including HACCP studies) are applied in the factory and take actions to sustain the ingredient and formulation performances. What will make you successful?
