The Account Manager will be part of the European Southern Sales team, focusing primarily on sales development. We are hiring in Italy, with an office in Parma. About The Position We are seeking an Account Manager with a strong technical background to support our growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, understands what excellent performance looks like, and is a problem solver with strong organizational and interpersonal skills. You will lead account development and penetration strategies for assigned customers or regions. Responsibilities include: Managing a portfolio of accounts Managing Italian and Spanish customers/distributors Resolving conflicts and providing timely solutions Positioning Oterra as a leading, reliable, high-quality color supplier in the country Launching projects to ensure long-term business Collaborating with the South Europe team Working with ITCs, PM, and Business Support Using CRM, forecasting tools, etc. Promoting product launches and campaigns Managing price lists Serving as the technical contact for accounts Traveling approximately 60% for training, customer, and distributor visits Who Are We Looking For? We seek a team player who can enhance Oterra’s reputation as a reliable supplier of high-quality natural colors for the food industry. The candidate should enjoy working with people, possess high standards, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships. Resilience, collaboration, and a good sense of humor are valued soft skills. Key attributes for success include: Bachelor's degree or equivalent, preferably in Food Science At least 4 years of technical sales experience Understanding of sales performance metrics Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce Fluency in Italian and English; Spanish is a plus Experience in Food & Beverage industry Strong interpersonal skills What We Offer An exciting opportunity to be part of the build-up of our Sales team across Northern, Central, and Southern Europe.
