English Teacher

My English School is a communicative language school with a modern and open-space format, a motivating and friendly atmosphere, and a hands-on and student-centered approach. Since opening in Parma in 2016, the My English School team has taken pride in helping our students achieve real results in a setting that is both professional and fun. We are currently looking for experienced and aspiring teachers already based in Parma and the surrounding area to join our growing team. You would be responsible for Teaching small group / individual lessons for kids, teens, adults and business Regular testing of students Writing accurate and timely updates on student progress Creating and (eventually) leading extracurricular events and clubs Attending team meetings A native or bilingual level of spoken and written English A driving license and own transportation TEFL or equivalent (or the willingness to obtain one whilst training on-the-job) A strong interest in helping others learn and succeed Excellent organisational skills and precision Enthusiasm, teamwork and a willingness to lend a hand when necessary Professionalism, punctuality and interpersonal respect What we like to see Any prior experience in teaching, tutoring, coaching or mentoring Demonstrated experience and enthusiasm for working with young learners Work experience in the hospitality, service or creative industries A passion for something that you could share with the students An ability to speak in front of a group and think on your feet What we offer A full Italian contract fixed-term (determinato) for the first year then permanent (indeterminato) Competitive pay Medical and holidays Company welfare benefits Initial and ongoing training and support Opportunities to lead projects We look forward to hearing from you!
