Discover your exciting roles We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Lead Engineer Sustainability (m/f/d) for our Biopharma & Life Science Business Unit in Italy, Milano. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Lead the development and execution of sustainability strategies for construction projects Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, green building standards and ESG criteria Conduct environmental impact assessments and implement mitigation measures Integrate sustainability into design, procurement, and construction processes Develop and monitor project-specific CO₂ footprints and sustainability KPIs Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and clients to embed sustainable solutions Prepare and present sustainability documentation and reports for internal and external stakeholders Drive innovation in materials, energy efficiency, waste management and circular construction Show your expertises Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability or similar Multiple years of experience in sustainability within construction or infrastructure projects Strong knowledge of EU environmental regulations and green building standards Experience with sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED, BREEAM, WELL) Proficiency in CO₂ and LCA tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Fluent in English and Italian language is a must-have Passion for sustainable development and hands-on problem-solving approach What we offer Your start at Exyte: Take part in a two-day onboarding event with new colleagues Attractive location: Our location features spacious workstations with height-adjustable desks Buddy-System: Several weeks of close familiarisation with your colleagues in the team Work-life balance: There is always the possibility of switching to mobile working Catering: Free coffee specialities as well as water dispensers are accessible on every floor Contact Information * Would you like to become part of the Exyte team?
